Howard Koslow (1924 - 2016) "China Folk Houses" Signed lower right. Provenance: Collection of James A. Helzer (1946-2008), Founder of Unicover Corporation.
This painting was originally published on the Fleetwood Mint Stamps of the World Panel for the Folk Houses of China stamp issue of June 1, 1987.
A variety of Folk Houses are found throughout the vast country of China. From the cave dwellings of North Shaanxi to the courtyard homes in Taiwan Province, the varied nationalities of the provinces of China bring their own special charm to the houses and villages.
