Technique: Watercolor over Pencil on Paper
Date: c. 1880
Size: Paper: 13,3 cm x 21,2 cm (5,2 x 8,3 in)
Description: Veduta by an anonymous artist. Showing a flat landscape along a narrow river with washerwomen at work on the banks. In the centre an ox team drives through a ford. In the background a water bridge with four round corner towers can be seen. The veduta probably shows a North German, Dutch or Scandinavian landscape.

Rather good condition. The sheet is slightly discoloured due to its age and in places slightly soiled. There are pressure marks in the paper at the lower right. The corners are minimally bumped and partly creased. A faint diagonal crease is visible in the upper half of the sheet.Condition
