Technique: Hand colored Copper engraving on Paper
Date: c. 1800
Size: Paper: 10,4 cm x 6,4 cm (4,1 x 2,5 in)
Description: Small devotional picture or votive picture depicting the young Mother of God standing between flowering lilies on a globe. As a symbol of the Immaculate Conception. Inscribed and signed below in the printing plate, largely unrecognisable: "[...] Conceptio B. V. M. [...]". For further classification see also "Adolf Spamer: Das kleine Andachtsbild".
