Johann Nepomuk Franz Xaver Strixner (1782 Altötting - 1855 Munich) after Meister Wilhelm: Wilhelm von Köln (around 1370 - around 1390 ): Depiction of saints Bernardus and St Matthew the Apostle, 1822, Lithography with chalk
Technique: Lithography with chalk on Paper
Inscription: Signed and dated on the left and right below the image. With indication: "Printed under the direction of Strixner in Stuttgart". The print is from the multi-volume edition: 'Die Sammlung Alt-, Nieder- und Ober-Deutscher Gemälde der Brüder Sulpiz und Melchior Boisserée und Johann Bertram' (1821-1836).

Very good condition. The sheet is closely trimmed. It has discoloured slightly. Traces of glue from an old mounting at the upper margin of the sheet on the verso. The print is in an excellent fresh condition.Condition
