Technique: Steel engraving on Paper
Inscription: Titled and inscribed below the depiction: "Nordheim sc.". Inscribed above the depiction: "Neues Convers. Lexic. / No. 13". Verso numbered: "1476" and illegibly inscribed with the name of the collection. Portrait of the US-American explorer and politician John Charles Frémont (*1813 Savannah - 1890 New York City). Published in Meyers Konversations-Lexikon.
