Josef von Führich (1800 Kratzau - 1876 Vienna) Circle: Biblical account, Genesis 1:4, Creation of light, 1856, Etching
Technique: Etching on Paper, rolled-on on Paper
Inscription: At the edge of the image in the printing plate with Bible quotation "And God saw the light that it was good, and separated the light from the darkness" and reference to the "k.k. Hof und Staatsdruckerei in Wien. Hof- und Staatsdruckerei in Wien" and dated 1856.

Good condition. The backing sheet has light foxing and scattered liquid stains. The edges of the sheet are slightly to clearly damaged by creases and tears. The upper left corner of the sheet is missing. The printed sheet also shows foxing as well as streaky soiling and a crease along the upper margin.Condition
