Description: Without designation. View of a hilly landscape, in the middle ground of which a farmstead can be seen at the left edge of the picture, surrounded by trees. Behind it the viewer sees a hill, numerous trees and fields seem to be there. Born in Affeltrangen, Austria, in 1885, Hans WAGNER attended the School of Applied Arts in Munich. In the autumn of 1913 he acquired a patent as a drawing teacher for Switzerland. Numerous sketches, drawings and prints have been preserved, which Wagner produced in a wide variety of media - such as charcoal, watercolour or as woodcuts.
