Description: Miniature costume scene as illustration for an illustrated edition of the "Fairy Tales and Narratives" by August Friedrich Ernst Langbein (1757-1835). Showing a turbulent scene with crooks who attack a woman, the rescuing coachman with raised whip follows on his heels. Based on an original by Johann Heinrich Ramberg (1763-1840).
