Inscription: Inscribed, dated and signed along the lower edge of the sheet: "Sigrid 1889- tegnet af E. Rondahl".

Description: Portrait sketch of the artist's daughter, Sigrid Marie Margrethe Rondahl, at the age of three. Shows the artist's cheerful child with an alert gaze. The drawing is from a collection of history and saga depictions with Nordic scenes and themes from the hand of the Danish artist Rondahl, who made a name for himself especially as a draughtsman. He provided the designs for numerous historical, archaeological and literary writings.
