Description: Beautiful nature study from the sketchbook of the Danish artist Rondahl, showing the blossoms of a poet's narcissus (Narcissus poeticus) or star narcissus (Narcissus radiiflorus) in detail from different angles. In addition, the flowers of a plant reminiscent of buttercups and some leaves are depicted. The drawing is from a series of landscape drawings and studies of excursions in Denmark and Norway that the artist undertook in 1885.

Good condition. Slightly soiled in places. On the reverse side discolourations due to dust and light as well as small damages of the paper surface at lower right. Along the edges partly clearly bumped and creased. There is a single marginal tear at the top. There is slight damage along the left edge of the sheet, presumably from detaching the page from a book binding.Condition
