Technique: Copper engraving on Paper
Inscription: Signed and inscribed below in the printing plate.

Description: Theatrical scene with a young pair of lovers on a mountain peak. Probably an illustration for the opera "Jocelyn" by Benjamin Godard or the underlying poem by Alphonse de Lamartine, which is set in the mountains of Grenoble.
