Description: Illustration for Torquato Tasso: "Befreytes Jerusalem", fourteenth canto. The depiction shows a shepherd's family kneeling before a woman in warrior's garb. Signed and dated below the illustration, left: "Schenau del.", right: "C.F. Stoelzel sc. 1801".
