Technique: Copper engraving on Paper
Inscription: Signed and inscribed below in the printing plate.

Size: Paper: 11,3 cm x 7,8 cm (4,4 x 3,1 in)
Description: Miniaturised allegorical scene as illustration for an edition of the parody "Die Klingelschnur" by Christian August Semler (1767-1825). Showing two young women with costumed children and a monkey in front of a seated statue of a young lute player. At the side two bell strings hang out of two openings. After a model by Johann Heinrich Ramberg (1763-1840).

Good condition. The sheet is discoloured due to its age and slightly stained in places. Minimal damage is visible along the lower edge of the sheet. The edges of the sheet are trimmed.Condition
