This interesting righthand drive Elan was manufactured on August 14, 1965 and has remained within the same ownership since 1978. According to the vendor, it has 'always benefited from being serviced and maintained and been used for the occasional track day as well as fast road work'. The related modifications include: adjustable rear wishbones; roll over bar; competition seat belts; oil cooler; large alloy radiator and alloy header tank; fire extinguisher and Monza fuel cap. The Lotus sports White bodywork and Black interior trim and is being offered complete with both a new hood and a colour-keyed hard top, as well as a large file of invoices, the 1978 bill of sale and related advertisement, and V5C. The vendor currently classes the twin-cam engine as being in 'fine condition', the backbone chassis as 'very good', the four-speed manual gearbox and differential as 'good', and the bodywork and interior trim as 'fair'. - Shipping Info
