To include -
1. An RAF 'Scramble Bell', with crown, dated 1940. The Bell is Ministry of Defence, 11 inch specification, with the correct 11 inch casting size at the top (the size is part of the casting not an engraving) - the top of the Bell also has a very small Foundry mark, that incorporates the MOD arrow, plus a large Ministry of Defence arrow to the inner. The Bell clapper is a replacement (to original MOD specification), as the original clapper was apparently lost during a house move long ago. The Nickel Plate is in excellent condition on the outside of the Bell but there is loss of plating to the inner Bell. The tone is high (for a sense of urgency) and will be immediately recognized by any one who is familiar with MOD Bells of the period.
2. A Barrage Balloon Ashtray.
3. A Propeller Clock.
4. An original press release photograph of RAF fighters under review by King George.
5. An RAF 'Escaping Society' car badge by Thomas Fattorini of Birmingham.
