- Lot Description
Eider hen from Maine, 2nd quarter 20th century. "WLC" deeply carved in to underside. Slight swimming pose with long, inlayed neck seat and relief carved bill. Measures 18" long. Tom Neelen collection.
Condition
Original paint under an early coat of varnish that has flaked somewhat; small dents and shot marks; multiple drying cracks in body; cracks in neck; chip in underside of bill.
