- Lot Description
Georg Jensen flat server server, sterling silver handle and stainless steel server, item #206 in the Pyramid pattern, design #15 by Harald Nielsen from 1926. Servers with steel serving parts are intended either for serving foods that are not compatible with silver (e.g. tomatoes which are acidic, or eggs) or for added heat insulation when serving heated foods, such as warm pies/pastries etc.
Measurements: 7 5/8″ (19.2cm).
Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmark from 1933-1944, the steel part is marked “Georg Jensen Stainless Made in Denmark”.
