Sterling silver handle and stainless steel (blade) Georg Jensen cake knife, item #196 in the Acanthus pattern, design #180 by Johan Rohde from 1917.
Georg Jensen changed the design of the blade in the 1930’s, this is the old type blade. Georg Jensen also changed suppliers of their steel blades over the years, this blade is from Raadvad in Denmark.
Measures 10 3/8″ (26.5cm) in length.
