- Lot Description
Acrylic Painting Artists: Markand Balganesh, Luke Biederman, Lyra Gafford, Echo Gilhool, Bodhi Goldstein, Cazier Jackson-Cesar, Amina Khalek, Izabel Kuziemski, Aella Lee, Leela Pizer, Jonah Purtle, Edward Seaberg and Tess Stern This original painting was created using acrylic paints. The children splattered paint onto their canvas while dancing along to their favorite song, "Dinosaur Rap." You can see their dancing in the movement of the paint. Some children were held and flown over like pterodactyls as they squeezed their paint onto the canvas below them. Afterward, they used coffee stirrers, spoons, and their hands to mix the paint. The children collaborated in applying white and black paint to watercolor paper to create the black dinosaurs and white borders around them. The dinosaurs, placed randomly, were the final touch to this abstract piece.
