Five White Anziano Chairs, by John Hutton for Donghia, 20th Century,
Molded beechwood and white satin lacquered seats with black tubular powder coated steel frames and legs.
Stackable.
Each: H: 32 1/4 x W: 20 x D: 20 1/5 in
Seat Height: 18 in.
John Hutton designed the stackable Anziano chair in 1989 for the American Academy of Rome, reinterpreting the silhouette of ancient Greek Klismos chairs using a contemporary design language. The chair was introduced in 1991 into the Donghia line, quickly becoming an icon of American industrial design.Condition
