Chris Burden (1946-2015) Through the Night Softly, 1973, Black and white photograph, Signed Chris Burden and dated 1980 on verso. The photograph was taken from a performance in which Chris Burden crawled through 50ft. of broken glass on Main Street in Los Angeles wearing only bikini trunks while having his hands behind his back, September 12, 1973. Together with an autograph Chris Burden 74-77 paperback book, designed and published by Chris Burden, 1978, Los Angeles CA. Also includes a postcard from the canceled exhibition at Gagosian Gallery, Beverly Hills CA, March 7-April 4 2009. H: 9 1/2 W: 7 1/2 in. From the collection of Bill Radawec (1952-2011).
