A Chinese Woven Rattan Lunch Basket
19th/20th Century.
Together with a traditional Chinese silk winter hat with velvet lining, three flaps to cover ears and neck, and three fasteners to secure the side flaps at the front.Tag within hat notes origin from the French Concession, Tianjin.
H: 10 1/2 W: 13 1/2 D: 13 in.Condition
Some knicks and scratches to basket, woven part of handle has unraveled just a bit. Five small tears to the exterior of the hood, each about an inch, that do not pierce the inner lining. Adhesive residue to hood's interior from an old label.
