Banjo Timpiece Signed Wm. Cummens:
Description:
An early 19th C. eight day banjo timepiece signed "Warranted by Wm. Cummens" (AW. 1789-1834), a Boston maker who apprenticed under Simon Willard. Note restored eglomise is offered with original eglomise panel (now removed from the clock), with breakage.
Dimensions: 33" X 10" X 3 3/4".
