Aaron Willard Shelf Clock :
Description:
A New England mahogany shelf clock whose eglomise dial mask features a reserve signed "Aaron Willard, Boston", probably Aaron Willard Sr, (1757-1844), with case and gilt bronze paw feet and a central turned wood finial and a removable fine mahogany base panel. Ca 1820-1825. Features a round enamel painted concave dial and an eight day weight driven timepeice movement.
