• Lot Description
  Vessel, lathe-turned, hollowed. Verawood (Bulnesia arborea), 4.25" high x 5.25" wide. Verawood is native to the Caribbean, Central America, northern South America. Coloring of this piece is atypical. Hard, dense, it does not float. I acquired this log section on a site visit to Michael Tisdale, who is in the wood salvage business, in Homestead, FL. Finish is: tung oil/varnish mix; beeswax. Shipping continental US is included in price.
