Signed G. Weil 18 kt Yellow Gold and Malachite Horse Necklace from the Surreal Collection.
This stylized horse is a rare treat. It’s one of world famous artist, George Weil’s, signature designs. The 18 kt yellow gold horse’s contoured figure is statuesque with open green eyes, displaying the unique hand cut malachite base with gold frame the horse is mounted on. The horse has a sculpted plate style with a pose in movement. The mane is accented with seven platinum heads, each set with round brilliant diamonds. The riveted chain is made of solid gold Y shaped links, each hand pinned with beads in a riveted fashion. The necklace has a swivel barrel clasp.
