Lucian Piccard Swiss Gold Filled Wristwatch In It’s Original Box from the Surreal Collection.
Lucian Piccard outdid themselves with this model! From the packaging to the fantastic vintage 1960’s Lucien Piccard Swiss gold filled wristwatch makes a statement. The wide woman’s watch measures 6.5” L x 2.25” W. The cobalt blue lapis color dial has an oval shape measuring 17.6 x 13 mm. The case back is marked: “GILTRON by Lucien Piccard Switzerland 73 80 08”.
The intricate brick link riveted link pattern is flexible. However, it fits on a small wrist, interior measurement is 6 “. A great aspect of gold-filled jewelry is it’s designed with a solid layer of gold that is bonded to a base of metal, like sterling silver or copper. When cared for, the gold layer can last for generations. Gold filled offers much bang for the buck and is a prized metal to designers and consumers.
