Antique Grand Tour Blue Opaline French Toilette Box with Two Bottles, Paris Napoleon Empire Grand Tour.
Exquisite antique French Blue Opaline Toilette Box and Bottles, circa 1860’s - 1880’s. Napoleon III Empire Grand Tour. The ormolu is a delicate open scrolling design and contains 1 miniature depiction under glass, of a Paris monument located on the top of the box. There are two bottles inside the box, each containing one miniature depiction under glass on the tops of each bottle.
Box Measures: 4 “ H x 4.5 “ W x 2.75 “ D
Bottles Measure: 2.75 “ H x 1.5 “ W
Condition: The box is in good condition, the picture on top is a bit cloudy and is missing the original key. The two bottles inside the box each have a crack in the glass on the tops of the bottles. See Photographs.
