- Lot Description
One 14 kt yellow gold ring containing 1 old European cut diamond, 2nround brilliant cut diamonds and 14 marquise cut green tourmalines. The old European cut is set in the center of the ring. It measures 2.87 mm in diameter, and its estimated weight is 0.12 carat. It has grades of: Color - J, Clarity - VS1, and it is held in place by 4 prongs. The diamond is surrounded by 8 green tourmalines. These 8 marquise cut green tourmalines average approximately 4.9 mm L x 2.5 mm W. These 8 tourmalines and the old European cut diamond form the flower shape in the center of the ring. The other 2 diamonds and 6 tourmalines form half flower on each side of the larger center one. The half flower shapes each have a round brilliant cut diamond in the center, and these 2 diamonds average 2.50 mm in diameter and they total an estimated weight of 0.10 carat. The diamonds have average grades of: Color - G/H, Clarity - SI, and each diamond is held in place by 4 prongs. There are 3 green tourmalines on the outer edges of the ring on both sides. Two of these tourmalines average 4.9 mm L x 2.5 mm W, and 4 of the tourmalines average approximately 4.00 mm L x 2.00 mm W. Total weight of the 14 tourmalines is estimated to be 1.82 carats. The tourmalines are deep yellowish green in color, and have eye visible inclusions. Overall dimensions of the top of the ring are 22.63 mm L x 12.97 mm W x 7.02 mm in thickness. Total weight of the ring is 4.7 grams. The ring is not stamped, but tested 14 kt gold.
