The Rolex Submariner two-tone has been in production since 1984 and has an allure all it's own, with a bit of dressiness to set off the utilitarian nature of the diving watch. The dial is a "Serti," which is French for "setting." the hour markers are set with diamonds and blue sapphires and the dial color is silver, which is unique on the Submariner to this dial. The result is definitely luxurious, but more subtle than you would expect. The present example is a great piece for the collector who wants something out of the ordinary.
Dial is in very good condition with light patina near the "8" hour marker. Case is in excellent condition, with thick lugs and some signs of light polishing. The bracelet has minor stretch. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in very good condition.Condition
