The Rolex 1675 GMT Master is one of the brand's most iconic models. Introduced as a watch made at the request of Juan Trippe at Pan Am Airlines, the purpose was to be able to track your home time as the local time zone changed. The GMT Master was worn by pilots, but the distinctive colors of the Pepsi Bezel and toolwatch history have captivated watch enthusiasts. The present example has attractive, even aging on the case and dial. It is from 1971, which was the first year for movement hacking. The bracelet is a solid link Oyster and is newer than the watch.
Condition
Case is in good condition, showing signs of polishing. Bezel insert is faded, with some discoloration at the 7 hour marker. Dial is in excellent condition, with a matching cream patina to the tritium lume. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, The present example is in very good condition.
