The Rolex GMT was originally introduced in 1958 at the behest of Pan Am's president, Juan Trippe. It included two time zones, so his pilots would always know their "home time." Throughout the decades, the GMT Master line was added to, with this sharp two-tone model arriving in the 1970s. The gold and steel version has a beautiful and versatile quality that makes it both sporty and dressy. It's just starting to become more collectible, making it a good investmentDial is in very good condition, with minor patina from age. Case is very good, with light polishing and scratches. Bracelet is tight with minor stretch. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in very good condition.Condition
