The Chopard "Happy Diamonds" series has been a pillar on which modern Chopard was built on. The watch was designed by Ronald Kurowski in 1976. Far and away their most popular timepiece, owners love the free moving bezel-set diamonds sandwiched between the caseback and crystal. The present example is a first generation model, from the late 1970s. Sized at 32 mm square, it has that modern oversized feel. The bracelet is long, at 7-1/2 inches. Accompanied by Chopard box, warranty and letter from Chopar noting the manufacturing date of this watch.
