The Cartier Tank Basculante was originally introduced as a response to the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso. The interesting hinged case can be reversed to protect the dial from damage. It can also be placed in a standing position to use as a bedside clock. The present example, from the 2000s, pays homage to the original Basculante from the 1920s.Dial is in excellent condition. Case is very good, with minor scratches. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in very good condition.Condition
