- Lot Description
Child's short sword. [Europe?], 19th century. Blade 21 in. Overall 24 7/8 in.
21 in. double-edged straight blade. Half basket cast brass handle with Phrygian cap pommel and acanthus leaf motifs to pommel, knuckle bow, and quillon. Twisted wire wrapped grip. No scabbard. A seldom seen example.
