1. Enamel and metal badge. Original soldered pin and hook to reverse. Approx. 1 5/8 x 1 3/8 in. (Sheridan Badge).
2. Gem-sized hand-gilt tintype mounted in metal pinback frame. 5/8 x 15/16 in.
A rare original badge from Sheridan's Cavalry Corps featuring pale blue enamel surmounted by crossed sabers. Accompanied with a striking gem-sized tintype of a young soldier who may have served in the Corps.
