Gold locket with tintype portrait of a soldier and a photograph of two women.
A charming family photographic locket. The right side features a middle-aged man preparing for war. Wearing a tall flat-brimmed hat, he bears a sword next to his bearded face and large cravat. Facing his portrait is a sensitive image of two older women, their heads touching affectionately. The locket is decorated with a vignette of a lady on horseback.
