- Lot Description
Leather carbine cartridge box with round brass "awning nail-type" or "carriage-type" finial. Latch tab, two buckles, and three reverse belt loops all intact. Two interior pockets with latch tabs intact. Unmarked. Approx. 7 1/8 x 4 1/4 x 1 3/4 in.
A fine Confederate cavalry carbine cartridge box with original latch tabs, belt loops, and finial. With excellent patina, it would be a nice addition to a Confederate cavalry collection.
