A member of the Salon d'Automne - later serving as its Secretary GeneralÑhe helped foster cultural exchanges in countries such as Poland, Iran, and Japan, and regularly exhibited in the United States while lecturing on Modern French Art. Over the course of his career, Michel Henry garnered numerous awards, including the First Prize at Maison Descartes (1956), First Prize at Casa Vel‡zquez (1957), and a Gold Medal from the SociŽtŽ des Artistes Franais (1977). He was knighted in the LŽgion d'honneur in 1981.
