1stbid info@1stbid.comJackson Pollock. American, (1912- 1956). The artist uses a variety of paint hues methodically dripped onto the thick large paper with some areas where the dripping paint remained slightly longer lending the paper some areas of thicker impasto which lends the painting a wonderful layered effect. Overall the painting is visually stimulating and affords the viewer's gaze to be in continuous motion with no natural start or end location. The painting is covered with a sheet of clear plastic and presented in a black-finished wood frame. Rite, Enamel paint on canvas. Circa1940s. Size With the frame: 39,5 x 63,5 inches. Condition: There are some spots on the frame that is being repainted. The paper looks inflated in the lower right corner but it's a minor thing and is hardly noticeable. Overall the painting is wonderfully painted and could either be enjoyed for its modernist appeal
