Edward Henry Potthast (American, 1857-1927) Attributed to. Pastel on paper depicting a family relaxing under a pier. A mother in a blue dress sits with her white hat to the side, next to a young girl in pink and a boy in white holding a yellow ball. The supports of the pier scale the trio, with swirling hues of green, blue, and yellow waves to the right. Signed lower left. Displayed behind glass with a wide white and gilt mat in a fluted and flourishes subtly gilt frame. Condition good, light wear to frame. Measures: 12 1/2" x 10", ( 22 1/2" x 21" ) with the frame.
