Not a Heriz, not a Serapi in any case, but A west Persian rustic Malayer scatter with a more-or-less geometric design with a straw-ivory field displaying polychrome large angular petal corner motives, And supporting a square side-notched beige Ð camel subfield anchored by a red hexagon medallion extending long pendant polres ending in ivory-beige ragged palmettes. Straw-ivory "dragon vine" border characteristic of much Malayer weaving. Slight end reduction, otherwise good condition. Slightly disciplined palette.
