The hood with coved cornice and outset columns enclosing a 10 1/2in. silvered brass dial with Roman and Arabic chapter ring and date aperture Signed Rich Marshall, Wolsingham, Fecit 1734.

The Marshall family of Wolsingham in County Durham made clocks over several generations. Richard Marshall, Sr.( 1708-1774).
