- Lot Description
Caroline Kaplowitz (American, 20th/21st Century). Saw Tree II, 2007. Stainless steel, steel, handsaws, plastic. Inscribed 'Carol Kaplowitz 2007' on the base. Measures 102 in. high x 54 in. wide.
Condition: Some scattered areas of corrosion and surface soiling. A few of the saws are detached.
Caroline Kaplowitz is an artist inspired by the changing forms of nature. She works in a variety of mediums including wood, bronze, clay, oil and steel. Her work has been featured in a variety of galleries and museums in New York, San Francisco and Mexico City.
