This original sketch is from a Sports Illustrated magazine, issued January 19, 1959. This sketch portrays a scene apart of a 9 page story on the 1958 NFL Championship game between the Baltimore Colts and New York Giants. It shows the Colts quarterback, Johnny Unitas, who passed for 2007 yards and 19 touchdowns that game, attempting a pass as his lineman defends against a rushing defender. This sketch is seen on page 52, cover page of the article, and is artist signed in the bottom right corner.
