WALKER & HALL - a gentleman's wrist watch. 9ct gold case with personal engraving to case back, hallmarked possibly London 1937. Unsigned manual wind movement. Light champagne dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to a non-original blue leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 30mm.
Manual wind movement is currently functioning. Movement shows marks, scratches and tarnishing. Screw heads show signs of previous intervention. Dial appears to show hairs/fibres between the dial and glass. Dial also has discolouration and shows marks. Arabic numerals show pitting when viewed under an eye glass. Hands have marks and tarnishing. Seconds hand may be a later replacement. Glass appears to have hairs/fibres trapped to the underside. Glass also has marks and scratches. Case shows marks and scratches. Crown could possibly been a later replacement and shows marks and scratches. Crown show some wear to the plating under an eye glass. Case back features a monogram and personal engraving. Case back has marks and scratches. Strap has been modified to fit the fixed lugs. Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks. Buckle also appears to be in good condition with minor marks. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
