BID ON THE-SALEROOM
Two mid to late Victorian gold gem-set memorial rings. To include a 9ct gold turquoise and brown gem forget-me-not dress ring and a woven hair panel and black-gem cluster ring. Two turquoise deficient. Weight 5.2gms.
Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Two turquoise deficient. Some other possible replacements. Areas of repair to inside of turquoise ring where a strengthening panel has been added to the inside of the band with visible soft solder. The turquoise vary in colour, some possible replacements. The engraved detail to the band is significantly worn. Abrasion and chips visible to the facet edges of the black gems, possible join marks to the shoulders of the ring. Ring sizes H and o.
