BID ON THE-SALEROOM
Two late 19th century tortoisehell items of jewellery. To include a tortoiseshell heart-shape locket, with scroll engraved detail and a heart-shape tortoiseshell pendant, with overlaid split pearl and circular turquoise cabochon cluster. Lengths 4.6cms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Cracks, scratches and damage to the tortoiseshell, some areas are chipped. Split pearls well matched, natural imperfections visible to the turquoise. Some scratches and areas of discolouration to the surmounts. London import mark to the link of the pendant, date letter illegible. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
