Two late 19th century sets of buttons. To include a set of six silver-mounted carved horn horseshoe buttons, together with a part-set of five carved agate buttons. Diameters 1.5 and 1.4cms. With fitted cases.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. One agate bgutton deficient from the set. One horn button with small, natural fissures. Agates well matched. One case with gilt lettering 'Mrs Newman, Goldsmith and Court Jeweller, 10. Savile Row. -W-'. Cases show general wear.
