BID ON THE-SALEROOM
Two late 19th century gold emerald and sapphire full-circle eternity rings. Each designed as a cushion-shape emerald cabochon or circular-shape sapphire line. Weight 1.9gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Two to three reasonably obvious replacement gems to each ring. Gems in closed back settings, presumed foil back. Emeralds are a well matched deep medium slightly bluish green hue. Sapphires vary slightly from medium to dark blue hues. Well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions, some surface reaching. Emeralds in good condition with minor abrasions. Sapphires show moderate-significant abrasion, few small nicks.
